Atlantic Salmon Tartare

Salmon tartare makes a great appetizer or first course. Using fatty Scottish Atlantic salmon makes this a very smooth and succulent mix to serve on crackers or thin slices of pumpernickle bread.

Farmed salmon is the best choice for it's high fat content.

  • 1.5 lb Scottish farmed Atlantic salmon, skinned and diced
  • 2/3 cup creame fraishe
  • 1/2 cup shallots, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup small capers
  • 1/8 cuo lemon zest
  • 1.5 teaspoons herbed sea salt


  • Simply add all ingredients to a bowl and gently toss with the salmon. Serve immediatly
